Role & responsibilities

- Lead the system architecture and design activities for CBTC and ATS signalling systems.
- Review, validate, modify, and approve signalling design deliverables including schematics, interlocking data tables, application logic, and trackside equipment layouts.
- Ensure compliance with SIL-4 safety requirements, Indian Railway standards, and international CENELEC railway standards.
- Coordinate with Rolling Stock, Telecom, Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Track, SCADA, and other engineering teams to resolve interface issues.
- Provide technical leadership during design reviews, testing, commissioning, and project execution activities.
- Guide and mentor signalling design engineers while managing engineering workflows, quality, and project deliverables.

Support technical discussions with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in Metro Rail, Urban Transit,.
- Knowledge of railway safety lifecycle and RAMS processes.
- IRSE certification or relevant railway signalling certification will be an added advantage.
