Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of rolling mill electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC motors, VFDs, soft starters, PLCs, HMIs, and control panels.
- Maintain electrical distribution systems, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, and power cables.
- Inspect and maintain sensors, encoders, limit switches, proximity switches, and instrumentation.
- Diagnose electrical faults and minimize production downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ensure proper calibration and functioning of electrical instruments.
- Support commissioning and startup of new equipment and production lines.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)



procedures and all electrical safety standards.
- Coordinate with mechanical, production, and automation teams during maintenance activities.

Required Skills:

- Robust troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and DC drives.
- Familiarity with electrical safety practices and LOTO procedures.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns.
