Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Fleet Management: Monitor vehicle availability, allocation, and utilisation while maintaining fleet records.
- Route Planning: Plan and optimise delivery routes for timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Driver Management: Manage driver schedules, attendance, documents, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Fuel Management: Track fuel consumption, mileage, and identify abnormal usage.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs,
and ensure all vehicles are roadworthy.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain valid vehicle documents and ensure timely renewals.
- Dispatch & Monitoring: Track vehicle movement, delivery status, and resolve transportation issues.
- Safety: Ensure vehicle inspections, secure driving practices, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Cost Control: Monitor transportation expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and monthly reports on fleet utilisation, fuel, maintenance, and driver performance.
