Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Liaison Officer to manage statutory documentation and compliance for all onboard railway catering staff. The role involves coordinating with internal departments, IRCTC authorities, hospitals, police departments, and other government agencies to ensure every employee possesses valid and up-to-date mandatory documents before deployment.
The Liaison Officer will play a critical role in preventing operational disruptions, financial penalties, and compliance issues by ensuring 100% documentation readiness across all train operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end documentation for all current joining employees.
Verify and maintain employee KYC and onboarding documents.
Track expiry dates of all mandatory documents.
Coordinate renewal of:
IRCTC Identity Cards
Railway Entry Passes
Medical Fitness Certificates
Police Verification Certificates
Food Safety/Health Certificates (if applicable)
Any other statutory documents required by IRCTC or Indian Railways.
Liaise with IRCTC officials and railway authorities for document approvals and renewals.
Coordinate with hospitals, diagnostic centers, police departments, and government offices to obtain required certificates.
Maintain digital and physical records of all employee documents.
Ensure no employee is deployed with expired or missing documentation.
Prepare compliance reports for management.
Coordinate with HR and Operations regarding employee deployment readiness.
Support audits conducted by IRCTC or railway authorities.
Ensure complete compliance with IRCTC documentation policies.

Preferred Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
2 to 5 years of experience in liaison, compliance, administration, HR documentation, railway operations, or statutory documentation.
Experience dealing with government departments or railway authorities will be an added advantage.

The Liaison Officer serves as the compliance backbone of railway catering operations. Every onboard employee must hold valid statutory documents before deployment.
