Job Title: HRT PYP (Homeroom Teacher)

Location: OAKRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, BANGALORE

Job Summary:
The PYP Homeroom Teacher is responsible for delivering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) through inquiry-based learning, creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. The teacher collaborates with colleagues and parents to ensure holistic student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging IB PYP lessons.
- Foster inquiry-based and student-centered learning.
- Assess, monitor, and report student progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership.
- Participate in school events, career development, and IB initiatives.
- Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing, and school policies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Education or relevant subject.
- Experience in IB PYP or an international school is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
