Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee production planning, manufacturing operations, quality, and workforce management. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of production and operations management , ensuring productive utilization of resources, timely delivery, cost optimization, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Production Management

- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet production targets.
- Develop and implement production schedules based on customer requirements and business priorities.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to minimize wastage and downtime.
- Ensure timely completion of production orders while maintaining quality standards.

Operations Management

- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams for seamless operations.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Monitor production costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure effective inventory planning for raw materials and finished goods.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and motivate production supervisors and shop floor teams.
- Allocate work responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve productivity, quality, and safety awareness.




- Promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects and improve production quality.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Safety & Maintenance

- Ensure adherence to workplace safety policies and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and operations reports.
- Analyze production KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
- Present operational performance reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in Operations is an added advantage.
- 5-10 years of experience in production and operations management.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Proven experience in managing production teams and plant operations.
