About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice Principal to support the Principal in providing academic and administrative leadership for the school. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving academic excellence, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, mentoring teachers, fostering student development, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school in alignment with CBSE guidelines and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

- Assist the Principal in implementing the schools academic vision, strategic goals, and educational policies.
- Monitor curriculum planning, lesson delivery, assessments, and academic outcomes across all grade levels.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide instructional coaching and feedback to teachers.
- Analyse student performance data and implement strategies to improve academic achievement.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies, experiential learning, and technology integration.

Faculty Management & Development/ Student Development

- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Coordinate teacher recruitment, induction, orientation, and professional development programmes.
- Facilitate staff meetings, departmental reviews, and collaborative planning sessions.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and student-centric learning setting.
- Support counselling initiatives and implement intervention strategies for student success.
- Encourage student leadership, participation in co-curricular activities, and holistic development.

School Administration

- Assist in the day-to-day management and smooth functioning of the school.
- Prepare academic calendars, timetables, examination schedules, and duty rosters.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, school policies, statutory requirements, and safety regulations.




- Coordinate school events, inspections, audits, and accreditation processes.

Parent & Community Engagement

- Build robust relationships with parents through effective communication and Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Address parent concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Represent the school during meetings, educational forums, and community engagement activities.

Required Qualifications

- Masters Degree in any teaching subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Additional qualifications in Educational Leadership, School Administration, or Education Management are desirable.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum, CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws, assessment practices, and NEP 2020.

Experience

- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Academic Coordinator, Vice Principal, or an equivalent academic leadership role.
- Proven experience in curriculum planning, teacher mentoring, academic administration, and school operations.
