- Review and interpret medical information to identify relevant codes and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify coding discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.

Job Requirements

- Solid understanding of coding principles, including anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in using coding software applications, such as Epic Systems or other electronic health records.
