Duties and Responsibilities:

- Grammar check: Should be able to identify and correct all grammatical errors.
- Editing: Should be able to perform a line-by-line Level 1 to Level 2 edit (including sentence restructuring, readability check, rewriting/reframing, etc.), while following set journal guidelines and house style.
- Query and fact-checking: Should check facts using online resources and raise appropriate author queries.
- Reviewing: Should review the work of trained junior staff
- Training: Should be involved in preliminary training of trainee-level and junior staff.
- Pilot work/Documentation: Will be expected to edit any pilot work received and prepare style documents (when required)
- Allocation: Will be involved in work allocation, Excel sheet record maintenance.
- Communication: Will be involved in preliminary mailing and communicating with clients as well as freelancers.
