Position Overview

You will be a pivotal part of Alepo s R&D; software development team, leading and managing an agile team. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, and release new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for Alepo s web portal and self-care products. These products serve our global customers who provide 4G, LTE, 2G/3G, Wimax, WiFi, and Broadband services. You will ensure that your team members adhere to Alepo s coding guidelines and processes related to unit testing, code reviews, and acceptance test-driven development.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

- Design, develop, test, and release new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for Alepo s web portal and self-care products to improve product functionality and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and identify issues, fix them, and make maintenance releases to ensure product stability and performance.
- Take ownership of modules/projects and ensure proper delivery/deployment on time for successful project completion.
- Write JUnit test cases for robust unit testing and code quality.
- Identify, fix, and independently release SE product issues for timely resolution of critical problems
- Explore and utilize modern tools, including Generative AI , for code optimization, debugging, and accelerated development.

Secondary Duties

- Perform deployments and installations of patches.
- Clearly explain solutions to customers, both verbally and in writing,



when required to facilitate understanding and resolve queries.
- Identify the root cause of reported issues

Leadership/Mentoring Duties

- Lead and manage an agile software development team of up to seven members.
- Ensure team adherence to Alepo coding guidelines and processes for unit testing, code reviews, and acceptance test-driven development.
- Drive Sprint Planning meetings to effectively pick up User Stories.
- Coach and guide team members on design and development based on user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring completion as per the definition of done .
- Lead and mentor team members

Required Qualifications

Education

Required: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engineering / Electronics / Telecommunications from an accredited college or technical institute.

Experience Requirements

- Total Experience: 7+ years of relevant industry experience in software development.

Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Core Technologies

- Java and J2EE Strong proficiency
- Struts and Hibernate frameworks Experience
- Threads Understanding
- Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere) Experience
- Databases (MySQL, MS-SQL, Oracle) Experience
- Development Tools (Jira, Eclipse, SVN) Familiarity





Domain Expertise

- Web portal and self-care products in the telecom domain (4G, LTE, 2G/3G, Wimax, WiFi & Broadband services) Understanding
- Portal module In-depth knowledge of at least one
- Alepo product knowledge Above-average

Tools & Platforms

- JUnit Experience in writing test

Soft Skills (Essential)

- Analytical and Problem-solving: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to identify the root cause of issues, strong analytical skills to identify and fix issues for maintenance releases.
- Communication: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for internal and external (customer) interactions.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Ability to lead and mentor team members, ability to lead and drive Sprint Planning meetings, ability to coach & guide team members.
- Ownership: Ownership of modules/projects and timely delivery/deployment.

Additional Technical Skills

- Liferay Experience
- NodeJS and Angular Experience
- Automation tools (Robot Framework or Selenium) Knowledge
- Unit testing Experience with 80% code coverage
- Debugging skills Solid
