About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Internal Auditor to oversee the technical, operational and safety compliance of our Tower Crane, Shuttering, and Scaffolding operations across project sites. The role involves conducting internal audits, inspections, maintenance reviews, quality assessments, and compliance checks to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
The position requires extensive travel across India and close coordination with project teams, vendors, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Tower Crane Audit & Compliance

- Conduct internal audits of Fixed Tower Crane operations across project sites.
- Inspect tower cranes during erection, commissioning, operation, dismantling, and demobilization.
- Carry out scheduled and surprise inspections to verify compliance with company standards and safety procedures.
- Ensure timely Third-Party Inspections (TPI) and statutory certifications.
- Verify compliance with OEM recommendations, IS Standards, and safety regulations.
- Review preventive and breakdown maintenance practices to ensure optimum equipment performance and cost efficiency.
- Audit maintenance records,



inspection logs, repair history, and operational documentation.
- Monitor equipment utilization, maintenance budgets, and operational efficiency.
- Review statutory permits, compliance documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess emergency preparedness and response procedures related to crane operations.
- Evaluate operator competency and identify training requirements to improve operational safety and performance.
- Shuttering & Scaffolding Internal Auditor

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare detailed audit reports with observations, risk assessments, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Maintain audit records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Use MS Excel and other reporting tools for data analysis, inventory tracking, and audit reporting.
- Track closure of audit observations and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 815 years of experience in Tower Crane operations, inspection, maintenance, or technical auditing.
- Hands-on experience with ACE TC5540, ACE TC3625, or equivalent tower cranes.
- Robust understanding of mechanical systems, construction equipment, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of shuttering and scaffolding systems, quality standards, and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance, safety regulations, and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and technical report preparation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and auditing skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
