About the Role:

We are looking for a Social Media Growth & Content Strategist who can take ownership of our social media growth and brand-building efforts.

This is not a conventional social media posting role.

We are looking for someone who understands what content works, why it works, how to create engaging content and how to consistently grow social media channels organically.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of growing Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn or other social media channels and should be able to demonstrate measurable results from their previous work.

Our focus areas include AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Data Analytics, Excel, Power BI, technology, careers and professional upskilling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Growth

- Develop and execute strategies to grow our Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other relevant social media channels.
- Identify content formats and topics that can generate high reach, engagement, followers and brand awareness.
- Analyze current social media performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Continuously experiment with new content formats, hooks, topics and storytelling techniques.
- Study platform algorithms and changing social media trends.

2. Content Strategy & Ideation

- Develop a weekly and monthly content calendar.
- Generate fresh and high-potential content ideas.
- Identify trending topics and convert them into relevant content for our brand.
- Create content pillars around AI, Gen AI, Agentic AI, Data Analytics, Excel, Power BI, careers and upskilling.
- Identify topics that have strong potential for views, shares, saves and engagement.
- Balance educational, entertaining, informative and promotional content.

3. Reel / Short Video Scripts

- Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other short-form videos.




- Create strong hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds.
- Develop storytelling-based content rather than generic promotional videos.
- Convert technical concepts into simple, relatable and engaging content.
- Create content designed specifically for retention, shares and engagement.

4. Analytics & Performance

- Monitor social media performance on a regular basis.
- Track reach, views, watch time, engagement, shares, saves, followers and profile visits.
- Identify why certain content performs better than others.
- Analyze successful and unsuccessful posts and use insights to improve future content.
- Prepare regular performance reports and actionable recommendations.

5. Competitor & Trend Research

- Research competitors, education brands, creators and influencers.
- Identify successful content formats and strategies.
- Monitor trending topics, formats, sounds and conversations.
- Identify opportunities to create timely and relevant content.

6. Brand Building

- Build Gyansetu's image as a credible and modern AI & Analytics education brand.
- Create content that builds authority, trust and awareness.
- Increase brand recall among students, working professionals and corporate audiences.
- Develop a recognizable and consistent content style for the brand.

7. Content Production

- Coordinate with video editors, designers, trainers and internal teams.
- Provide clear briefs for videos, reels, carousels and other content.
- Ensure content is aligned with the overall brand strategy.
- Review content before publishing and ensure quality and consistency.

What We Are Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience in Social Media Marketing, Content Strategy, Digital Marketing or Social Media Growth.




- Proven experience in organically growing social media channels.
- Robust understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn content.
- Excellent content ideation and script-writing skills.
- Strong understanding of hooks, storytelling, audience psychology and content retention.
- Ability to identify what content is likely to perform well and why.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Valuable knowledge of current social media trends.
- Ability to think creatively and experiment with new content ideas.
- Strong communication and writing skills.

VERY IMPORTANT – Proven Growth Required

Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous social media growth results.

During the interview, you should be prepared to show examples of social media accounts/pages you have worked on and explain:

- Followers before and after your involvement
- Reach/views before and after
- Best-performing content
- Content strategy you implemented
- What specifically you did to achieve the growth
- Timeline in which the growth happened
- Your individual contribution to the results

Candidates whose experience is limited to only posting content, scheduling posts, Canva designing or basic social media management may not be suitable for this role.

Performance Expectations

The person joining this role will be expected to:

Research → Strategize → Ideate → Script → Produce → Publish → Analyze → Improve → Grow

The ultimate objective is to build strong brand awareness and sustained organic growth, not simply increase the number of posts published.
