We are looking for an Interior Design Intern who is passionate about learning and wants to work closely with the founder on design projects.
This is a hands-on role with tremendous learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing architectural and interior design drawings.
- Manual drafting and scaled drawings.
- AutoCAD drafting and revisions.
- Prepare furniture layouts and space planning.
- Assist with mood boards and material selections.
- Site measurements and documentation (when required).
- Prepare BOQs and project documentation.
- Research furniture, finishes, lighting and décor.
- Assist with presentations and client proposals.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
- Help organize project files and design documentation.
- Work closely with the founder on ongoing learning and design assignments.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of Interior Design or Architecture.
- Good understanding of AutoCAD.
- Basic SketchUp knowledge preferred.
- Understanding of architectural drafting.
- Manual drawing skills.
- Ability to understand scale and measurements.
- Valuable communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Eager to learn.
