Job Summary The CNC VMC Operator will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining CNC and VMCs to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications This role demands attention to detail mechanical aptitude and quality focus to ensure high standards in manufactured parts Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and VMC as per job specifications and production schedules Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and 3D models to determine machining requirements Load materials and select install and adjust cutting tools and fixtures Monitor machine operations perform quality inspections using precision measurement instruments calipers micrometers and ensure dimensional accuracy Perform basic CNC programming and make adjustments to programs or machine parameters as needed Conduct routine maintenance troubleshoot minor machine issues and collaborate with maintenance engineering teams to resolve technical problems Document production activities machine performance and quality records Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment following safety protocols Qualifications ITI Diploma in Machining Technology Mechanical Engineering or equivalent vocational training Minimum 2 years experience as a CNC VMC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing workplace Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CNC programming basics G-code knowledge preferred Experience with FANUC Siemens or Mitsubishi CNC controls is advantageous Strong mechanical aptitude problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Skills CNC VMC machine operation and setup Blueprint and technical diagram reading Precision measurement and quality inspection Basic CNC programming and troubleshooting Equipment maintenance and safety compliance Salary Competitive based on experience and skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
