Job description About the Role We are seeking a5 years of experience highly skilled Welding Technician Welding Inspector with strong expertise in steel casting welding processes and non-destructive testing NDT The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in MPI UT RT and Visual Welding Inspection ensuring high-quality and defect-free welding operations Key Responsibilities Perform steel casting welding as per industry and safety standards Conduct Magnetic Particle Inspection MPI for surface and near-surface defect detection Perform Ultrasonic Testing UT and Radiographic Testing RT for internal defect identification Carry out thorough Visual Welding Inspection before during and after welding Interpret NDT reports and provide corrective recommendations Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper calibration of testing tools Follow welding procedures WPS PQR and ensure compliance with quality requirements Prepare documentation inspection reports and maintain quality records Coordinate with production QA QC and engineering teams Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards Required Skills Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in steel casting welding and NDT inspection Robust knowledge in MPI UT RT and Visual Inspection methods Certification in NDT Level II MPI UT RT is an added advantage Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols Experience working with heavy steel castings Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Good communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Diploma ITI in Welding Mechanical Metallurgy or related field Experience in foundry or casting industry Salary 20 000 to 24 000 Month Contact Number Kishor Kumar S Phone No (phone hidden) Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 24 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
