About Us One World IT Rental is an international technology rental business with 10 Locations across 9 Countries As established and fast-growing company with ambitions to become the largest short term IT rental company in the world for business and social events One World Rental al have a Fantastic new opportunity for an IT Technician to join a thriving company with international offices with a view to grow You will be gaining experience and exposure in several areas of the business from our in house technical team field services as well as on-site event technology installations and support This is an exciting role with field and on site exposure at some of the most biggest events on the planet playing an important role as the onsite Event Technology provider This is the ideal role for a IT Tech looking to join a company with big ambitions and have the opportunity to work with a range of major international organisations across industry backgrounds You would be assisting in preparing of IT technology and devices such as Tablets PC s VR AV Networking equipment for all types of projects from simple activities to more complex plans as well as driving company s vans to collect or deliver equipment to the sites across UK and Europe Your duties will include Image laptops and PC s work with Apple configurator IOS and OSX devices Provisioning testing and configuring Deploy and administer IT systems in the assigned region including end-user desktops laptops computing servers network equipment voice and video hardware and mobile devices Prepare large quantities of iPads consistently using apple configurator and MDM tools Execute software installation and deployment to computing systems Maintain condition software and hardware of IT equipment including VR headsets routers and printers Prepare and routinely test network kits with Access points switches and routers before shipping for onsite deployment Make sure that clients needs are met as projects evolve Analyse risks and opportunities Provide telephone support to users where needed Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise Promote health and safety and ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation plans and reports Several Event Staff Assignments providing event technology support on site Travel domestically and international to support event Technology Requirements Previous work experience as IT assistant or Technician preferred Driving license preferred Ability to work flexible hours as per event schedule covering all days and hours Must have a genuine interest in technology with a willingness to learn Excellent verbal communication skills Solid organisational skills including multitasking and time-management IT background is a plus Adaptable and calm under pressure Problem solving We look forward to welcoming a dedicated and dynamic individual to our team If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in global tech operations we encourage you to apply Job Types Full-time Part time Experience Technical support 3 years Preferred Location Mumbai Central Mumbai Maharashtra Required
