Role Designation Prosthetist Orthotist Qualification Bachelor s Degree is a must Experience 1-2 Years Skills Technical skills to be able to design orthotics or prosthetics with the appropriate materials measurements and components Detail-oriented for precise patient assessments and device design and fabrication Communication skills to communicate with physicians and technicians Analytical and problem-solving skills to carefully assess patients Training Yes - Training provided as per the profile Responsibility Patient Assessment Assist in evaluating patients needs by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories Interviewing and assessing patients to identify unique needs and briefing on treatment plans Device Design and Fabrication Help design and fabricate prosthetic and orthotic solutions ensuring they meet the specific needs of each patient Designing and fabricating orthotic devices based on patients measurements and physician prescriptions Fitting and Adjustment Aid in fitting and adjusting devices ensuring comfort functionality and proper alignment Measuring or taking impressions of a patient s feet to design a footwear and or insoles Patient Education Educate patients on the use care and maintenance of their prosthetic or orthotic solutions Providing patients with device use and maintenance instructions Follow-Up Care Provide follow-up care and make necessary adjustments to devices based on patient feedback and changing needs Providing ongoing care and repairing or adjusting devices as treatments progress Record Keeping Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including assessment results treatment plans and follow-up notes Continuing Education Stay updated on the latest advancements in prosthetics and orthotics through continuous education and training Provide insights and inputs on how to improve operational processes Customize Solutions Constructing prosthetics or orthotics by hand or supervising construction by medical appliance technicians Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Internet reimbursement Paid time off Provident Fund Work from home Work Location In person
