Job Responsibility To help the company design and develop new products in the process equipment space To carry out detailed mechanical thermal and process design of Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels and to interpret and understand drawings P I diagrams and estimate cost generate the Bill of Material etc Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing advising them on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required To communicate and liaise with customer with regards to drawing and design corrections and changes Record and evaluate design calculations testing data and alter designs as necessary to bring them to safety performance and efficiency standards To calculate cost estimates for final product designs and release reports to supervisors incorporating costs of labor material delivery and overhead To work during the entire lifecycle of a project as a mechanical design lead and report to the senior mechanical design engineers and report to the company regarding the status of each project Researching and keeping up with the latest advancements in technology design trends and engineering best practices in the process equipment spectrum Preparing technical reports design specifications documents and operational manuals Attend weekly team meetings to provide progress reports and to participate in design reviews of mechanical systems and prototypes Coordinate and review engineering schedules with project team members and to approve documentation for quality and safety Job Requirements The candidate must be a graduate in Mechanical Engineering The candidate must have a detailed understanding of pressure vessels heat exchangers and piping their applications and technicalities Minimum 2-3 years experience as a mechanical design engineer The candidate must possess experience with PV Elite AutoCAD Must possess a detailed working knowledge of ISO and ASME codes Working knowledge of HTRI is a plus Job Types Full time Permanent Application Question s Do you possess working experience and knowledge of PV Elite HTRi software Do you possess a Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering Do you possess working knowledge of ISO and ASME codes Do you have a detailed understanding of pressure vessels heat exchangers and high-pressure piping Work Location In person
