Org Structure FMC - Manufacturing - Machine Shop Unit Job posted on Jan 29 2026 Employee Type Staff Experience range Years 0 - 0 Purpose of the Role 1 Ensure the availability of machines equipments in right condition to meet the production requirements through maintenance of Electrical equipment and machinery 2 Carry out the maintenance of machines as per checklist for trouble free operation of machine tools 3 Update Work Order after completion of breakdown 4 Implementation and support for TQM ACME Other Projects Responsibilities Accountabilities Execute cost saving projects and record data to show ROI Execute the In-house fabrication of Electrical spares where ever possible to reduce the maintenance cost Ensure internal customer satisfaction by improving efficiency and productivity in TPM and driving uninterrupted operations Support Engineer in ensuring internal TPM processes alignment to best in class manufacturing requirements and facilitate continuous improvement to fulfil quality and on time delivery targets Create work orders based on received work request Execution of Electrical breakdown in the manufacturing plant Arrange material for Breakdown PM from stores fabricate parts and replacing the same for rectification Attend the machine breakdown under the guidance of service engineer whenever necessary Conduct the Trial run of the machine after rectification PM and hand over the machine for production Prepare drawing for fabrication of parts inhouse Carry out PM of machines as per checklist and take corrective and preventive actions Carry out geometrical test as per machine test chart as and when required Co-ordinate provide support for reconditioning retrofitting of machines Co-ordinate provide support during recent machine installation and layout change Update Work Order with details of work carried out resources complete the Work Order after completion of breakdown Co ordinate with manufacturing for implementation of TQM ACME Other Projects Ensure adherence to Business Excellence processes in all activities related to the Electrical maintenance section Collaborate with other departments and teams assist the Engineer to implement improvements in the TPM function Coordinate with the automation team to identify use cases and drive automation process improvement initiatives within the BU and Electrical maintenance section Suggest updation and use of the latest technologies and tools for all activities within Electrical maintenance section Train apprentice trainees on Electrical maintenance process to ensure defect free products
