Job Summary The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations This role supports internal staff and or clients by resolving IT-related problems efficiently and maintaining systems networks and devices Key Responsibilities Provide first- and second-level technical support remote and on-site Troubleshoot hardware software network printer and connectivity issues Install configure and maintain desktops laptops servers and IT equipment Support operating systems Windows macOS Linux and common applications Manage user accounts email systems and access permissions Monitor system performance and ensure data backup and security compliance Escalate unresolved issues to vendors or higher-level technical teams Maintain IT inventory documentation and support tickets Perform routine system updates patches and antivirus checks Provide basic IT training and guidance to users Support cloud services VPN routers switches and firewalls if applicable Required Skills Qualifications Diploma Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field Proven experience in IT support helpdesk or technical support roles Strong knowledge of computer hardware software and networking Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Active Directory and email systems Basic understanding of LAN WAN TCP IP Wi-Fi and network security Good problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and under pressure Willingness to work after office hours or on-call when required Preferred Skills Added Advantage Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure Google Cloud Knowledge of virtualization VMware Hyper-V IT certifications CompTIA A Network Microsoft Cisco Experience supporting POS systems CCTV or IP phones Working Conditions On-call standby support during weekends or after office hours if required Location Office-based On-site depending on project needs Job Type Full time Pay 30 783 23 - 55 675 71 per month Benefits Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
