Ocean Freight Forwarding Manager Salary Up to 70 000 depending on experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Forwarding Manager to lead and manage ocean freight operations ensuring productive shipment handling cost control and high customer satisfaction The role requires strong knowledge of international shipping carrier negotiations and team leadership Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end ocean freight forwarding operations FCL LCL Coordinate with shipping lines agents ports and customs brokers Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers and vendors Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of cargo Oversee documentation including BLs invoices and shipping instructions Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company SOPs Lead train and supervise the ocean freight operations team Prepare operational reports KPIs and performance analysis Support sales teams with pricing routing and technical expertise Requirements Bachelor s degree in Logistics Supply Chain or related field 5-8 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding operations Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms Experience handling FCL LCL import export shipments Proficiency in freight forwarding systems and MS Office Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 50 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month Benefits Paid sick time Paid time off Experience Ocean Freight Manager 5 years Required Ocean Freight Forwarding 5 years Required Import and Export Shipments 4 years Preferred
