A shopkeeper in charge or store in-charge manager is responsible for overseeing all daily store operations including staff supervision inventory management customer service and achieving sales goals Key duties include managing staff performance ensuring compliance with policies and safety handling cash monitoring sales performance and resolving customer issues Responsibilities Staff Management Supervise and train staff conduct performance evaluations and create work schedules Inventory Control Manage stock levels monitor inventory process new stock and conduct cycle counts Customer Service Ensure excellent customer service handle customer complaints and resolve escalations to maintain customer satisfaction Sales and Profitability Monitor sales targets implement strategies to achieve them and manage promotional activities Daily Operations Oversee the daily workflow ensure store cleanliness and safety standards and handle daily cash management and banking Reporting Prepare regular reports on sales inventory and staff performance Vendor Relations Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of stock Qualifications and skills Experience Proven experience in a retail management role with some supervisory experience is often preferred Leadership Strong leadership and team management skills Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities Technical Skills Proficiency in retail management software point-of-sale POS systems and Microsoft Office Problem-Solving Solid organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
