Job description Designation OT Anesthesia TechnicianDepartment Operation Theatre AnesthesiaRoles and Responsibilities Pre-Operative Preparation Prepare and check all anesthesia equipment machines and monitors before surgery Ensure availability of drugs oxygen cylinders suction apparatus and emergency resuscitation equipment Assist in setting up IV lines airway devices and anesthesia circuits Intra-Operative Support Assist anesthetists during induction maintenance and recovery phases of anesthesia Monitor patient vital signs heart rate BP oxygen saturation etc as directed Ensure smooth operation of anesthesia machines and alert the anesthetist to any malfunctions Help in positioning patients safely on the OT table Post-Operative Care Assist in transferring patients to the recovery room PACU Monitor patient condition and support in initial recovery from anesthesia Clean and disinfect anesthesia equipment after each procedure Inventory and Maintenance Maintain records of anesthesia equipment drugs and consumables Perform routine maintenance and calibration of anesthesia machines Ensure all emergency and backup equipment is functional Safety and Compliance Follow infection control sterilization and biomedical waste disposal protocols Ensure compliance with hospital and NABH safety standards Report any equipment failure or incident immediately to the concerned authority Documentation Maintain anesthesia records and equipment checklists Record daily usage and maintenance logs Assist in audits and stock verification as required Skills and Qualities Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and OT procedures LAP cases Good communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure environments Job Types Full-time Permanent Advantages Provident Fund Experience OT Anesthesia Technician 1 year Preferred Work Location In person Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 15 000 00 per month Work Location In person
