Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with strong experience in the transformers industry The ideal candidate must have hands-on knowledge of CT-PT Current Transformer Potential Transformer testing and a solid understanding of transformer design principles standards and manufacturing processes Key Responsibilities Design and develop transformer components assemblies and related systems as per project requirements Perform calculations simulations and design validation to ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical specifications Apply CT-PT testing knowledge to validate design integrity and performance Prepare technical drawings design documents BOMs and engineering reports Support the production testing and quality teams during manufacturing and testing phases Ensure designs meet industry standards IS IEC and internal quality guidelines Assist in troubleshooting design-related issues and implement corrective actions Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R D Procurement Quality and Sales Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering B E B Tech Diploma Mandatory Experience in the transformers industry Must-have Strong knowledge of CT-PT testing and transformer testing procedures Valuable understanding of transformer design material selection and industry standards Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills Ability to work independently and within a team Preferred Qualifications Experience with type testing and routine testing of transformers Knowledge of insulation systems winding designs and core design Exposure to quality standards and certification processes
