Position Site Engineer - Civil Department Construction Location Project Site Reporting To Senior Architect Role Overview The Site Engineer Civil is responsible for managing day-to-day site execution activities ensuring quality safety and timely completion of construction works as per approved drawings specifications and project standards Key Responsibilities 1 Site Execution Supervision Supervise all civil construction activities including concreting shuttering masonry reinforcement finishing works etc Ensure execution as per approved drawings method statements and project specifications Coordination with clients vendors and labour teams 2 Quality Control Conduct inspections for materials and workmanship Ensure compliance with IS codes quality standards and project requirements Maintain quality checklists and inspection reports 3 Planning Monitoring Prepare daily weekly and monthly site progress reports Monitor work schedules manpower and material requirements Identify delays risks and propose corrective actions 4 Materials Management Verify and approve incoming materials as per specifications Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material availability Maintain proper inventory and usage records 5 Drawings Documentation Study architectural structural and MEP drawings thoroughly Report discrepancies and coordinate with consultants for clarifications Maintain site documentation including DPR checklists test reports and RFI submissions 6 Safety Compliance Ensure implementation of safety practices at site Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure PPE usage Adhere to statutory regulations and environmental standards 7 Coordination Coordinate with contractors consultants and internal teams Attend site meetings and provide technical support Assist in billing measurements 8 Plot Development Oversee development of plotted areas including boundary marking leveling drainage internal roads utilities and landscaping works Ensure compliance with approved layout plans and statutory requirements Coordinate with survey teams for accurate plotting and demarcation Supervise installation of infrastructure such as water lines electrical ducts sewer lines and stormwater drains Required Qualifications B Tech B E in Civil Engineering 2-7 years of experience in residential commercial or infrastructure projects and multistorey buildings Strong knowledge of civil engineering methods IS codes and site execution Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and project reporting tools Skills Required Strong technical and analytical skills Leadership and team-handling ability Problem-solving and decision-making Valuable communication and coordination Ability to work under deadlines Work Environment Site-based role Requires regular field supervision May require extended working hours based on project needs Language proficiency English Kannada- basic Tamil- basic Hindi- basic NOTE Salary will vary depending on the experience and skill set of the candidate Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Work Location In person
