Job Title Senior Accountant Location Vasai W Mumbai Department Finance Accounting Reports to Accounting Manager Controller CFO Employment Type Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team This role is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills deep knowledge of accounting Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance Lead month-end quarter-end and year-end closing processes Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting standards and company policies Support audits internal and external including preparation of audit schedules and documentation Reconcile complex accounts and manage intercompany transactions Supervise junior accountants or accounting clerks if applicable Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and systems Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field Master s preferred 4-6 years of accounting experience public accounting or corporate finance Proficient in accounting software e g Tally QuickBooks Oracle and Excel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Solid communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Industry-specific experience e g manufacturing SaaS non-profit etc Familiarity with SOX compliance or internal controls for public companies Compensation Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health dental and vision insurance 401 k with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development and training support Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
