About the Role As a Shift Operator BMS you will be responsible for round-the-clock monitoring and operation of the integrated building systems at our medical institute campus Working in shifts you will ensure that HVAC fire alarm CCTV ventilation AHU systems and related components function smoothly and safely You will act as the first responder to alarms changes or faults coordinating with the technical team and Vicom Security service engineers when needed The Building Management System BMS serves as the centralized platform integrating subsystems including HVAC AHU fire alarm CCTV security and sensors for effective control and reporting Your role will help maintain operational continuity and safety in a hospital setting Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor the BMS software and hardware interface for subsystems HVAC AHU fire alarm CCTV access control Respond to alarms and faults in real time escalate to engineers technicians when required Support preventive and corrective checks during shift duty Maintain daily logs shift reports and event records Ensure AHUs are running with correct parameters air supply filtration temperature humidity Monitor fire alarm system integration and CCTV alerts through the BMS Assist in coordination with service teams during shift for troubleshooting and maintenance Ensure safe operation and adherence to facility protocols during shift hours Qualifications Skills Essential Requirements Diploma in Civil Electrical Electronics Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent Experience in BMS operations or related facility management minimum 1-2 years preferred Knowledge of HVAC especially AHU fire alarm and CCTV systems Ability to handle shift operations independently with basic troubleshooting skills Good documentation and reporting ability Preferred Skills Familiarity with BMS platforms Siemens Johnson Controls Honeywell Schneider Tridium etc Basic understanding of communication protocols BACnet Modbus and IT network basics Experience in healthcare or large facility environment Other Requirements Male candidate preferred local to Kharagpur or nearby regions Must be willing to work in rotational shifts and attend emergencies Reliable punctual and responsible team player Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
