HR Generalist Come Join Our Passionate Team At Barracuda we make the world a safer place We believe every business deserves access to cloud-enabled enterprise-grade security solutions that are easy to buy deploy and use We protect email networks data and applications with innovative solutions that grow and adapt with our customers journey More than 200 000 organizations worldwide trust Barracuda to protect them in ways they may not even know they are at risk so they can focus on taking their business to the next level We know a diverse workforce adds to our collective value and strength as an organization Barracuda Networks is proud to be an employer that complies with all applicable national state and local laws pertaining to nondiscrimination and equal opportunity regardless of race gender religion sex sexual orientation national origin or disability Envision yourself at Barracuda We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our dynamic HR Business Partner team The primary responsibilities will include providing HR generalist support for two US based Strategic HR Business partners contributing to key global HR initiatives such as the talent calibration process annual merit cycles and organizational design projects While your main focus will be on supporting the US based Strategic HR Business you will also offer secondary HR support to the Regional HR Director for APAC as needed This role reports directly to the Director HRBP - APAC and provides a fantastic opportunity for career growth while making meaningful contributions to the business As the primary responsibility for this position supports US partners you must be able to work US business hours The working schedule is Monday to Friday 5 PM to 2 AM IST This role is eligible for a shift allowance What you ll be working on Play a key role in providing HR support to the HRBP team which also includes providing HR generalist support for two US based Strategic HR Business partners and their associated business units and HRBP for APAC Partner with HR Business Partners on the rollout of recent programs and HR-related initiatives Collaborate with the HRBP team leadership and employees to help to create an engaged and high performing culture that helps the company to achieve business objectives Serve as secondary contact for client groups with general understanding of business challenges within specific business units Liaise with the global HR Ops team and or Payroll on needed employee changes such as promotions manager changes and salary adjustments Leverage people data analytics to assist HRBPs with business solutions Maintain knowledge of trends best practices regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources talent management and employment law Perform other duties as assigned Driving Engagement Strategy Implement engagement activities to drive employee engagement and foster a positive work environment What you bring to the role HR and business acumen including strong problem-solving skills critical thinking initiative and team mentality Knowledge of HR systems and processes HRIS and expertise with Excel Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting in a fast-paced environment Able to connect with people and meet targeted deadlines High integrity commitment and attention to detail Excellent communication verbal and written Interpersonal skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and management Conflict resolution Skills in mediating and resolving conflicts within the workplace Project management Experience in managing HR projects from inception to completion Analytical skills Ability to analyze data and provide insights to support HR strategies Adaptability Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and environments Cultural awareness Understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and backgrounds Education Experience University degree in Human Resources or a related field Experience of 2-3 years in a global HR Specialist or HR Operations role Ability to work independently and as an active collaborative member of the team HR system experience Workday preferred Strong proficiency in Excel Excellent customer service both internally and externally High level of accuracy attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment Must be flexible in both tasks and work hours Must be proactive and take ownership of tasks given High level of confidentiality required What you ll get from us A team where you can voice your opinion make an impact and where you and your experience are valued Internal mobility - there are opportunities for cross training and the ability to attain your next career step within Barracuda In addition you will receive equity in the form of non-qualifying options
