Job Summary The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests ensuring a warm welcome smooth check-in and check-out process and prompt assistance throughout their stay The role requires excellent communication customer service skills and the ability to handle front desk operations efficiently while maintaining the hotel s standards Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner Manage check-in and check-out procedures ensuring accuracy in guest records and billing Handle phone calls emails and walk-in inquiries efficiently and courteously Provide information about hotel facilities services and local attractions Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for room readiness and guest requests Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly escalating to management when required Process payments cash credit digital modes and maintain accurate financial records Manage daily reservations through booking platforms MMT Booking com Agoda etc Maintain a clean organized and professional reception area Ensure compliance with hotel policies safety and security standards Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant field preferred Previous experience as a receptionist front office associate in hotels resorts 1-2 years desirable Proficiency in MS Office and hotel booking systems PMS software knowledge preferred Solid communication skills in English knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask remain calm under pressure and resolve issues efficiently Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays Working Conditions Shift-based work environment Morning Evening Night Interaction with guests staff and travel agents regularly Requires a professional appearance and grooming as per hotel standards Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
