Key Responsibilities of a Senior Quantity Surveyor Cost Estimation and Management Preparing detailed cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities Monitoring project costs cash flow and financial performance Identifying and mitigating financial risks Reconciling cost and value to date forecast Contract and Procurement Preparing and negotiating contracts and subcontracts Managing procurement processes including supplier and subcontractor selection Administering contracts and ensuring legal compliance Evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing orders Assessing subcontractor payment entitlement Project Management and Collaboration Liaising with project managers architects engineers and subcontractors Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align costs with design specifications Attending pre-contract meetings and ensuring timely completion of actions Providing guidance to junior quantity surveyors and other team members Reporting and Analysis Preparing reports analyses and other project-related documentation Analyzing data and providing recommendations to mitigate financial risks Keeping the management team informed of project performance Client Management Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders Addressing client concerns and providing advice on financial matters Negotiating contracts and budgets with clients Other Responsibilities Ensuring timely completion of agreed actions Monitoring site instructions and identifying differences in scope of work Reviewing and processing current prices for work not included in the original scope Contributing to process improvement and innovation in cost management Job Type Full-time Pay 17 327 78 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
