Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication and mechanical processes to contribute to precision manufacturing operations The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their expertise in a dynamic workplace Responsibilities Set up and calibrate laser cutting machines according to job specifications and material requirements Load and unload materials onto the laser cutting machine ensuring proper alignment and positioning Program and adjust machine parameters such as speed power and focal length to achieve optimal cutting results Monitor the cutting process and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance Maintain a clean and organized work area including proper disposal of scrap materials and debris Coordinate with supervisors and engineering teams to resolve production issues and improve processes Record production data and maintain accurate records of material usage production output and machine maintenance Skills Proven experience in fabrication grinding welding or mechanical assembly is advantageous Strong understanding of sheet metal work and the use of hand tools and tooling equipment Good knowledge of mechanical principles relevant to CNC operation Ability to perform basic maths calculations necessary for setting up machines and measuring parts Familiarity with basic assembly processes and component fitting Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Organised proactive with good problem-solving skills This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to advance their skills within a professional manufacturing environment Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
