Job Title Senior Accountant Location HiLite Business Park Calicut Work Mode Work from Office Job Type Full-time Permanent Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support and strengthen the finance function of our Amazon-focused e-commerce business The role involves end-to-end accounting Amazon settlement reconciliation inventory costing budgeting support and statutory compliance while working closely with management and cross-functional teams The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in e-commerce accounting a solid understanding of Amazon Seller Central reports inventory accounting and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights Key Responsibilities 1 Financial Accounting Reporting Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL entries AR AP and bank reconciliations Handle month-end and year-end closing activities Prepare and review financial statements P L Balance Sheet Cash Flow Ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting records 2 Amazon Finance Settlement Reconciliation Reconcile Amazon settlements including sales refunds FBA fees commissions ad charges and reimbursements Ensure accurate posting of Amazon payouts and charges in accounting systems Zoho Books Odoo similar Identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner 3 Inventory Cost Analysis Track inventory movement and valuation across warehouses and Amazon FBA Manage landed cost allocation FIFO costing and COGS calculations Monitor inventory ageing shrinkage write-offs and stock variances Reconcile physical stock system stock and Amazon inventory reports 4 Budgeting Forecasting Performance Analysis Support budgeting and rolling forecast preparation Analyze actuals vs budget and highlight variances Assist in cash flow monitoring and working capital planning 5 Taxation Compliance Assist in GST VAT calculations filings and reconciliations Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Coordinate with auditors tax consultants and external stakeholders 6 Management Business Reporting Prepare monthly MIS reports covering revenue margins ad spend and profitability Provide SKU-level and category-wise performance analysis Support management with financial insights for decision-making 7 Process Improvement Systems Improve finance processes controls and documentation Support ERP accounting system optimization and Amazon data automation Ensure data accuracy and reporting efficiency Required Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Commerce Finance or Accounting CA Inter CMA Inter MBA Finance preferred 3- 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles Prior experience in e-commerce or Amazon seller accounting is highly desirable Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central reports and settlement statements Solid understanding of inventory accounting and costing Experience with Zoho Books Odoo QuickBooks or similar tools Advanced Excel Google Sheets skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills Experience in multi-SKU or high-volume e-commerce operations Understanding of FBA logistics fees and advertising charges Basic exposure to FP A and financial modeling Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Why Join Us Work with a fast-growing Amazon e-commerce business Hands-on exposure to end-to-end e-commerce finance operations Direct involvement in profitability and business performance analysis Secure work-from-office role in HiLite Business Park Calicut Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Experience finance or accounting 3 years Required Zoho Books Odoo QuickBooks or similar tools 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
