Process Coordinator - Steel Industry Job Summary The Process Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring production processes in the steel manufacturing environment to ensure smooth operations adherence to process parameters quality standards and production targets This role acts as a link between production quality maintenance and planning teams to optimize workflow minimize downtime and support continuous process improvement Key Responsibilities Coordinate day-to-day production processes across steel manufacturing operations melting casting rolling finishing or fabrication Monitor process parameters and production data to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures Work closely with production quality and maintenance teams to resolve process deviations and bottlenecks Track production schedules and ensure alignment with planning and dispatch requirements Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance productivity yield and quality Support root cause analysis for process failures defects or production losses Ensure adherence to safety standards quality systems and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate process documentation reports and performance metrics Coordinate trial runs new product development or process changes Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives 5S Lean TPM ISO etc Qualifications Experience Bachelor s degree in Metallurgical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline 2-6 years of experience in process coordination production or operations in the steel industry Hands-on knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and equipment is preferred Skills Competencies Solid understanding of steelmaking and rolling fabrication processes Ability to analyze production data and identify process inefficiencies Good coordination and communication skills across departments Familiarity with quality systems SOPs and safety standards Proficiency in MS Excel and production ERP systems Problem-solving and decision-making abilities Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
