Job Title Pharmacist Location Hindu mission hospital Department Pharmacy Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices possess excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing quality care to our patients As a pharmacist you will be responsible for dispensing medications providing advice on their proper use ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions and promoting overall patient health and safety Key Responsibilities Medication Dispensing Accurately prepare compound and dispense prescribed medications to patients in accordance with all relevant legal health and safety regulations Patient Counseling Provide clear and concise instructions to patients on the proper use dosage side effects and storage of medications Prescription Review Review prescriptions to ensure their accuracy appropriateness and safety including checking for drug interactions allergies and contraindications Collaboration with Healthcare Providers Work closely with doctors nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the secure and effective use of medications for patients Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies including the timely ordering receipt and storage of pharmaceuticals Regulatory Compliance Ensure that the pharmacy operates in compliance with all local state and federal regulations including controlled substance management and record-keeping Patient Safety Monitor and track patient health outcomes related to medication therapy and collaborate on intervention strategies when necessary Education Training Stay updated on new medications treatment guidelines and pharmaceutical innovations Assist in training pharmacy interns or junior staff as needed Customer Service Provide exceptional customer service addressing patient concerns answering questions and providing advice related to over-the-counter medications and general wellness Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay 18 478 70 - 25 887 37 per month Work Location In person
