Job description Company Description Since 1985 Utkarsh Transmissions Pvt Ltd UTL has been a leading provider of coupling solutions for manufacturing processes and power transmission products worldwide The company is one of India s largest producers of couplings offering a full range of flexible couplings for domestic and export customers focused on reliability and performance UTL is an ISO and ATex certified company with a strong commitment to quality safety and employee involvement Job Post - Quality Engineer - Quality Engineer Department Quality Assurance Control 1 Job Purpose To ensure that all manufactured parts subassemblies and final products meet quality and customer specifications maintaining adherence to ISO standards and driving continual improvement 2 Key Responsibilities Perform incoming in-process and final inspections using standard measuring instruments Prepare and maintain all inspection and test reports as per control plan Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities using tools such as 8D 5 Why and Fishbone Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of gauges and instruments Participate in internal audits and support customer third-party audits Drive initiatives for reduction in rejection rework and cost of poor quality COPQ Ensure adherence to safety and 5S standards in inspection areas Support training of operators on quality standards and inspection methods Handle customer complaints and track resolution status 3 Skills Competencies Knowledge of mechanical drawings GD T and tolerance limits Proficiency in using Vernier calipers micrometers height gauges bore gauges etc Knowledge of ISO 9001 MSA SPC and CAPA methodologies Strong analytical and documentation skills Good communication and teamwork ability 4 Educational Experience Requirements Diploma B E B Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering Minimum 1-2 years experience Fresher can apply in quality department of a mechanical transmission manufacturing unit Experience in machined gear or shaft components preferred 5 Key Performance Indicators KPIs KPI Target Frequency Rejection 1 of total production Rework 2 of production volume Customer complaint resolution Within 3 working days Audit compliance 100 on internal and external audits CAPA closure rate 100 within defined timeline How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to send their resumes and cover letters to hr utlcoupling com Job Types Full time Permanent Fresher Pay 11 107 41 - 20 195 72 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
