Job Requirements At Quest Global it s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different With over 25 years as an engineering services provider we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future We bring together technologies and industries alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture to solve problems better and faster Duties and Responsibilities Support the rest of the organization with CAD services such as site layouts standard elevations electrical single line diagrams basic design drawings configuration block diagrams other schematics and technical review of EPC Layouts Support the team on the elaboration of the Basic and advance Design package including design drawings estimated bill of quantities and preliminary design estimations Promote and maintain the highest quality and consistency across all jurisdictions in the production of any CAD related services such as layouts electrical SLD lease plans block diagrams among others Collaborate on the design optimization process with layout iterations Support the development of tools and procedures for ensuring consistency quality and optimize design cost Support engineering tools and methodologies to evaluate project feasibility and optimize project cost using CAD such as earthworks cut fill and the preparation of project bill of quantities Support the implementation and maintenance of the common methodology framework to produce CAD drawings as well as collaborate in its continuous improvement We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day Questians are driven by hunger humility and aspiration We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work ensuring that all voices are heard We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect where everyone belongs is valued and feels inspired to share their ideas We know embracing our unique differences makes us better and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas perspectives and backgrounds We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21 000 difference-makers in our workplace Work Experience Education Experience Degree in fields related to computer-aided design such as technical drawing architecture or engineering complemented by training at an advanced level in CAD software Qualifications supported by demonstrated prior experience in CAD within the renewable energy sector Familiarity in the use of GIS mapping software and spatial analytics tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS Personal Work Skills Fluent English spoken and written Additional language is a plus especially Italian Portuguese or Spanish Effective communicator with strong creativity and problem-solving skills A team-oriented team player able to work effectively with other team members to ensure design accuracy Dedicated to fostering a culture of quality safety and continuous improvement demonstrating reliability in all tasks Well-organized with excellent time management skills capable of efficiently managing workloads and meeting deadlines High attention to detail essential for ensuring the precision and quality of designs Strong spatial vision with the ability to visualize and design objects in both 2D and 3D Adaptable and flexible showing resilience to cope with changes in the work environment and evolving technologies A keen attitude towards innovation and continuous learning Knowledge Experience 10 years demonstrable experience in producing CAD work specific to large-scale Photovoltaic PV and Wind projects including high-voltage electrical infrastructure delivering high-quality design outputs Experience in BESS projects is a plus Advanced knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and PVCASE with experience in 2D 3D design Familiarity using other Wind or PV design software such as Openwind Revit or PV Design is expected Ability to create detailed design drawings and plans for renewable energy facilities at both conceptual and detailed levels Experience in high-level design including civil works electrical configurations and layout designs with the ability to understand and translate technical specifications and design drawings Familiarity with GIS mapping software and spatial analytics such as ArcGIS or QGIS Understanding of technical standards and environmental regulations Knowledge of different countries especially Australia and USA or international design standards is a plus
