Job Title Laser Projection and LaserQC Operator Location Pune Pimpri Department Manufacturing Quality Control Reports To Product Manager Employment Type Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Projection and LaserQC Operator to join our manufacturing team The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser projection systems to assist in part layout assembly guidance and ensuring quality using the LaserQC inspection system This role is vital in maintaining product accuracy and reducing rework through precise non-contact measurement and projection Key Responsibilities Operate laser projection systems to assist with part positioning layout and assembly alignment on production tables or workstations Program and run LaserQC machines for 2D inspection of sheet metal or fabricated parts Compare scanned parts to CAD models to verify dimensional accuracy and highlight deviations Identify and communicate defects or non-conforming parts to appropriate team members Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate records of measurements and findings Assist in calibration maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment Work closely with design engineering and production teams to ensure proper part setup and inspection Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment Continuously seek process improvement opportunities in laser inspection and projection workflows Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing or quality control is a plus Experience with Virtek LaserQC or other laser-based inspection projector systems preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files DXF DWG etc Proficiency with basic measurement tools and understanding of GD T Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Strong computer skills familiarity with inspection reporting software Valuable communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks Physical Requirements Ability to stand bend and lift parts or materials up to 50 lbs as required Visual acuity to perform detailed inspection work Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise Preferred Experience Not Required Experience with Virtek LaserQC or Virtek Laser Projection Systems Basic CAD skills AutoCAD SolidWorks Prior quality inspection or sheet metal fabrication experience Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Advantages Health insurance Work Location In person
