We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote technical support for our clients The role involves handling system installations troubleshooting hardware software issues installing and configuring laptops and operating systems and managing peripheral devices This position also requires hands-on field work including CCTV and biometric device installation and maintenance Key Responsibilities Provide on-site and remote desktop support for hardware software and networking issues Install configure and troubleshoot desktops laptops operating systems Windows Linux and other applications Perform CCTV camera installation configuration and maintenance Install and maintain biometric attendance systems and ensure smooth functionality Handle system upgrades patches and regular maintenance of IT infrastructure Set up and configure printers scanners and other peripheral devices Respond to and resolve support requests from users in a timely manner Perform routine checks preventive maintenance and ensure security compliance Document all service requests resolutions and maintain asset records Travel to client sites as required for installations and troubleshooting Requirements Diploma Degree in Computer Science IT or related field Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or IT Support Technician Hands-on experience with desktop laptop hardware installation and troubleshooting Solid knowledge of Windows Linux operating systems installation and configuration Experience with CCTV and biometric device installation is mandatory Basic understanding of networking concepts LAN WAN IP configuration Ability to work independently and manage field service assignments Strong problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to travel for on-site support Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Internet reimbursement Paid sick time Ability to commute relocate Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Experience Desktop support 1 year Required Location Coimbatore Tamil Nadu Required Willingness to travel 50 Required Work Location In person
