We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Canal Engineer to design supervise and maintain canal systems for irrigation drainage and water management projects The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or hydraulic engineering with specific experience in canal or water infrastructure design and construction This role requires strong analytical skills field experience and knowledge of regulatory and environmental compliance Key Responsibilities Design plan and oversee the construction and maintenance of canal systems including earthworks embankments and flow control structures Conduct topographical and hydrological surveys to support project planning and design Prepare engineering drawings technical reports and cost estimates Analyze hydraulic performance and flow capacity of canal systems Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during project execution Collaborate with other engineers contractors government agencies and stakeholders Provide technical input during procurement construction and commissioning phases Monitor project progress budgets and timelines conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues Implement erosion control and sedimentation mitigation measures Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Hydraulic Engineering Water Resources Engineering or related field Master s preferred Professional Engineer PE license or equivalent certification as required by region 3 years of experience in canal or water infrastructure projects Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D HEC-RAS SWMM or similar hydraulic modeling software Familiarity with national and local water resource regulations Strong problem-solving and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 70 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Schedule Day shift Morning shift Application Question s What is your current CTC What is your Expected CTC Work Location In person
