Responsibilities Design and plan civil engineering aspects of construction projects including site layout grading drainage and utility systems Prepare and review engineering drawings specifications and construction documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility identify potential challenges and make recommendations for improvements or modifications Collaborate with architects project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans schedules and budgets and ensure alignment with client objectives Manage and oversee construction activities including subcontractor coordination materials procurement quality control and safety compliance Monitor project progress track expenses and report on key performance indicators KPIs to stakeholders providing regular updates and recommendations for optimization Conduct engineering analyses calculations and simulations to evaluate structural integrity load capacities and environmental impact and propose solutions as needed Review and approve change orders RFIs and submittals and address any design or construction issues to maintain project timelines and quality standards Collaborate with regulatory agencies obtain necessary permits and approvals and ensure project compliance with building codes zoning regulations and environmental standards Provide technical guidance and support to project teams mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and outcomes Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer PE license preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Civil Engineer or similar role in the construction industry Proficiency in AutoCAD Estimation software s and other engineering software Strong knowledge of engineering principles construction methods materials and regulations Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Detail-oriented organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with project management principles and software is a plus Willingness to work remotely Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Work from home Work Location Remote
