Key Responsibilities 1 Talent Management Recruitment Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all restaurant roles front-of-house and back-of-house ensuring a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs specific to the restaurant environment Coordinate performance management processes including reviews development plans and disciplinary actions 2 Compensation Perks Payroll Oversee and manage the bi-weekly monthly payroll process ensuring accuracy compliance with federal state provincial regulations and timely distribution for all employees Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance paid time off PTO and retirement plans Maintain accurate and organized employee records payroll files and HR documentation 3 Employee Relations Compliance Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues resolving conflicts and conducting internal investigations Ensure the company s compliance with all local state provincial and federal labor laws including wage and hour regulations pertinent to the restaurant industry Develop update and communicate HR policies and employee handbooks maintaining a focus on a positive work culture 4 Training Development Identify training needs and coordinate relevant workshops e g food safety customer service leadership skills to enhance employee performance and career growth Drive initiatives to improve employee morale engagement and retention Qualifications Experience 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management or a senior HR Generalist role Industry Experience Prior HR experience in the restaurant hospitality or food service industry is preffered Payroll Proficiency Demonstrated familiarity and hands-on experience managing and processing payroll using HRIS payroll software Knowledge Strong understanding of labor laws including but not limited to FLSA tip pooling regulations and local health safety regulations Skills Excellent communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills High level of discretion and professionalism Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Work Location In person
