We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused IT Hospital Technician to provide essential technical support to our clinical and administrative staff The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware including printers and peripherals and various software applications with a commitment to maintaining system functionality and data security in a quick-paced healthcare environment Key Responsibilities Hardware Support Install configure maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware including desktops laptops printers scanners and other peripheral devices Software Support Install configure and update various software applications and operating systems e g Windows MS Office basic EMR systems ensuring smooth functionality Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve hardware software and basic network issues in a timely manner either in person remotely or via phone User Assistance Serve as the first point of contact for staff experiencing technical difficulties providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure minimal disruption to clinical workflows Inventory Management Maintain accurate records and logs of all IT equipment repairs and maintenance activities Compliance Security Ensure compliance with all organizational IT policies and healthcare regulations especially those regarding patient data privacy and security e g HIPAA Documentation Training Create and maintain technical documentation and assist in training current users on proper use of hardware and software Collaboration Work effectively within the IT team and collaborate with other departments and external vendors to resolve complex issues or implement new systems Required Qualifications Skills Education A high school diploma or equivalent is required An Associate s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field is preferred Technical Knowledge Strong working knowledge of computer systems hardware components and software operating systems and basic applications Problem-Solving Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff with patience and empathy Customer Service A professional customer-service-oriented mindset is essential for working effectively in a healthcare environment Job Type Full-time Pay 10 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
