We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to manage and support our IT infrastructure This includes server administration operating system installation firewall security management and desktop laptop support The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems secure network environments and timely technical support for end users Key Responsibilities Server and OS Support Install configure and maintain Windows Linux servers Perform routine server backups patching and performance tuning Monitor system health and proactively resolve server-related issues Implement and maintain virtualization environments VMware Hyper-V etc Operating System Installation and Maintenance Install configure and troubleshoot Windows Linux OS on servers and end-user systems Maintain updated OS versions and apply necessary security patches Firewall and Network Security Configure and manage firewalls e g Fortinet SonicWall Cisco ASA Monitor firewall logs and implement security rules and policies Conduct regular security audits and assist in vulnerability assessments Ensure compliance with organizational IT security protocols Desktop and Laptop Support Provide technical support for desktops laptops printers and peripherals Troubleshoot hardware software issues application installations and driver updates Manage and maintain asset inventory and support documentation User and Service Support Provide Level 1 2 support to internal users both onsite and remotely Set up and configure new users email accounts and access permissions Job Type Full time Pay 15 000 00 - 28 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund Application Question s ARE YOU FROM KOCHI DO YOU OWN A VEHICLE HOW MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE WITH DESKTOP SUPPORT Work Location In person
