Lead Software Engineer Cloud Development We are looking for a passionate accountable subject matter expert and technical lead in enterprise Cloud services and enthusiastic problem solvers to be a key part of the Cloud development group in Bangalore who can help us in building and maintaining Synamedia GO product and Infinite suite of solutions Synamedia Go is an OTT video platform that enables Pay TV Operators Telcos Broadcasters OTT Services and content rights owners to launch and manage compelling video experiences to any device anywhere at any time The product uses cutting edge technology and is in the forefront of Synamedia s growth engines We look towards you as SaaS expert with deep understanding of scalable and distributed microservices development and deployment in Agile DevOps environment Your role would be to provide architectural design and deployment leadership with deep rooted programming experience for the next generation of products and solutions in the domain of Video streaming Key Responsibilities Your day to day responsibilities include providing technical guidance technology evaluations proof of concepts development Cloud distributed microservices architecture design design reviews writing code code reviews continuous integration continuous deployment automated testing scaling the products and solutions for SaaS products and solutions Working in highly cooperative multi-site team environments Own your team s success and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner Analyse Product and Customer requirements mapping to existing solutions and suggesting new ideas Technically lead a talented team of Cloud engineers through hiring coaching mentoring and hands-on training to build and develop new products solutions or features on existing products and solutions You will develop high quality software in a collaborative environment where continuous deployment automated tests and rapid releases are the norm Support and manage all aspects of Cloud operations on a day-to-day basis maintaining continuous availability durability scale and up time Provide on-call and PDO support for issue investigation on components sub systems you work on Exhibit thought leadership in terms of introducing the latest Cloud technologies solutions tools or methods to the team to ease development testing deployment and operations optimise costs or increase development velocity Champion improvements into the product based on Quality and Stability develop tools scripts or processes to drive efficiency and automation Technical Expertise Engineering graduate B E Computer Science or equivalent with 8 years industry experience Solid and proven experience in cloud design development deployment and high scale systems Expertise in loosely coupled design Microservices development Message queues and containerized applications deployment using technologies like RESTful APIs and services Message Queues and Docker At least 7 years of hands on experience with NodeJS Java GoLang At least 4 years experience with Cloud Technologies - AWS EKS Open stack or similar Designing and building production grade solutions using AWS services such as Lambda EC2 ECS ELB Route53 Cloud watch VPC IAM Cognito Experience with DevOps CI CD pipeline with detailed understanding of Git Jenkins AWS pipeline Artifactory and Terraform Experience in Continuous monitoring and Observability tools -
