Job Profile Senior Accountant Location Bangalore Work Schedule 45 hours week Work Mode Hybrid Intro We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and growth-oriented organization This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative workplace engaging with both local and global teams As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing financial reporting ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting tax and audit processes You will play a key role in driving accuracy efficiency and process improvement across our accounting function Roles Responsibilities Accounting- Create proper provisions and accruals Prepare and analyse financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance Manage general ledger accounts and ensure timely reconciliations Close books and prepare trial Balance and Financial Statements for each period and month end close Prepare and the upload the proper financial statement to EPM for consolidation by the Group Furnish proper data to FBP and Business teams as and when required Close books and prepare trial Balance and Financial Statements for each period month end close and year Prepare and the upload the proper financial statement to EPM for consolidation by the Group Coordinate to close audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency Support month-end and year-end close processes Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide proper responses as and when required Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial reporting Any ad hoc reporting or responsibility Direct Tax Preparation of monthly quarterly and Annual tax liabilities Compute to ensure proper and accurate payment of advance taxes Collaborate with external tax consultants to manage tax submissions including returns accounting and statutory compliance in several countries Adhere to the company s transfer pricing policy and prepare relevant documentation Implement accounting to tax reconciliation processes Support tax and financial audits at global and local levels Engage in ad hoc projects and continuous department evolution Developmental- Should be able to create and develop work processes with focus on automation and digitization Should be to work with members across teams for optimum results Requirements Skills A professional degree holder e g Chartered Accountant or ACCA mandatory with 4-6 years of PQE Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role with an eye for detail Strong knowledge of accounting principles GAAP IFRS and tax regulations Proficiency in accounting software e g Tally SAP Oracle Financials Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting Advances skill in MS Office Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and lead accounting teams Good communication skills A team player Ability to guide members across teams for optimum results
