Alaska Exports is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Quality Head to lead the quality assurance and quality control functions in our sheet metal manufacturing unit The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing quality systems driving continuous improvement leading a team of inspectors and ensuring products meet customer and industry standards Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the quality department including a team of quality engineers and inspectors Develop implement and maintain quality management systems QMS as per ISO standards Plan and execute in-process and final inspections of sheet metal components and assemblies Analyze quality issues identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPA Liaise with clients for quality audits approvals and compliance requirements Ensure adherence to customer specifications and industry standards throughout the production process Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce rejections Prepare quality documentation inspection reports and maintain proper records Train and mentor quality team members on inspection techniques quality standards and best practices Coordinate with production design and purchase departments to resolve quality-related concerns Requirements Qualifications Bachelor s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 7-10 years of experience in quality control assurance in the sheet metal manufacturing industry Solid knowledge of fabrication welding machining and surface finishing processes Hands-on experience with measuring instruments gauges and inspection tools Familiar with ISO 9001 standards and quality documentation Strong analytical leadership and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and client interaction abilities Job Type Full-time Pay 70 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Work Location In person
