collaborative group of engineers product managers architects and customer success experts dedicated to building a world-class scale-out file services platform The team operates at the intersection of talented group shape the product direction and collaborate with some of the best minds in the industry to drive the next phase of growth for Nutanix Files Your Role People Management Lead and grow a strong software engineering team of engineers spread across multiple locations in India by focusing on establishing a culture of empowerment and growth Responsible for hiring coaching performance management and career planning of engineers Product and Technical Collaborate with other Product teams QA and Product Management in defining the technical roadmap for the Files product Drive scalable extensible architecture by participating in architecture and technical design for a data platform Engineering Process Release Management Establish software development best practices and streamline release planning process to drive iterative and rapid feature deployment working with teams across geographies Drive development of timely and high-quality software releases Collaborate with Program Management to define the release process What You Will Bring BA BS or MS degree in computer science or related streams 15 years experience in software product development 4 years experience in Engineering Management or Technical Leadership Deep understanding of file storage architectures NFS SMB scale-out storage systems data protection distributed systems and cloud-native storage Strong technical background with the ability to engage engineering at design and architecture levels Proven track record in delivering enterprise-grade software products at scale Excellent communication skills stakeholder management and executive presence Experience interacting with customers partners and field teams globally Work Arrangement Hybrid This role operates in a hybrid capacity blending
