The Marcus Evans Group founded in 1983 is a global Business Intelligence and Event Marketing company Headquartered in the UK we are rated in the top 20 UK companies for work life balance Working across all industry sectors our Summits Conferences and Online Events brands deliver innovative high-level content networking and one-to-one meeting platforms that bring together key decision-makers on a truly global scale Our client base is comprised of C-level executives from 98 of existing Fortune 1000 companies and we are world leaders in a variety of industries including healthcare legal pharmaceutical investments energy and packaging We are seeking a highly skilled QA QC Tester with a strong background in test automation and excellent communication In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and providing exceptional support to our end-users You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards and drive continuous improvement in our development processes If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for automation and system optimization we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity This is a position for one of our offices in India Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts based on technical and business requirements Perform both manual and automated testing to validate product functionality usability and performance Log and track issues using defect tracking tools such as JIRA ensuring timely resolution Collaborate with developers product managers and operations teams to resolve bugs and ensure high-quality releases Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to process improvements Review technical and functional documentation for clarity and completeness Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA input during sprint planning and design Communicate testing progress results and issues effectively to cross-functional teams and management Prepare quality metrics dashboards and testing reports for key stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering or related field Strong proficiency in programming languages e g Python Java C for test automation Solid understanding of QA QC methodologies and best practices Solid communication and documentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Must have skills 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a software development IT environment Strong knowledge of QA methodologies software testing lifecycle and defect lifecycle Proficient with test management and defect tracking tools e g JIRA Experience working in Agile Scrum environments Familiarity with JUnit testing framework or other frameworks Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Experience with automated testing tools for eg Selenium TestNG Cypress Exposure to performance or security testing Compensation Benefits Competitive base salary Part of a highly skilled and collaborative team Bonus available on performance May require relocating to Mumbai Kerala and Hyderabad with occasional international travel We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications merit and business need LI-Hybrid LI-DNI
