Syngene s quality standards at all times Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time Core Purpose of the Role Responsible for project planning and execution Hands on training on the modules Scientific application safety and quality requirements to subordinates Supervise the subordinates for timely completion of assigned projects Responsible for preparing periodic reports and updating to project leader Participate in teleconferences and client update Ensure the implementation of regulatory compliances Troubleshoot the problem areas of projects Ensure the optimum resource utilization and cost efficiency Ensure people reporting to them follow defined safety and quality norm Role Accountabilities Responsible for clear individual derivable Any other lab responsibilities as indicated by the lab manager supervisor Group Leader Follow ALCOA principles in all data generated and maintain confidentiality Always Follow EHS and Quality system requirements in the workplace ensuring individual safety and lab safety Preparation of procedure on need basis Attend all mandatory trainings and update training records as and when trainings are completed Leadership Capabilities Mentoring and guiding team members to improve their performance and develop their skills Effectively assigning task to the team members trusting them to complete their work and providing necessary support Analyzing situations identifying challenges and developing effective solutions Prioritizing customer needs requirements for this role Experience 0-12 years Demonstrated Capability Drive the team to achieve the OU KPI on productivity metrics and to meet organizational goals client focus Technical functional Skills The candidate should have excellent knowledge of modern synthetic methodology including asymmetric synthesis heterocyclic chemistry catalysis and the reaction mechanism is expected Should be expert in synthetic problem solving troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills including face to face and virtual interactions with team and clients Must have exceptional Presentation skills The candidate should maintain an accurate scientific notebook draft concise written reports for publications Managerial Skills Expertise in handling multiple collaborations Demonstrated in handling a team size of 7-12 FTEs Worked effectively with interdisciplinary teams Efficient Lab management skills The Leader must demonstrate the essential qualities of People Management Giving receiving performance-enhancing feedback Setting clear performance expectations Conducting challenging performance conversations Coaching individuals toward improved performance Delegating tasks Creating accountability Lead the change Education M Sc Phd Ph D degree with post-Doctoral research with excellent communication skills is preferred with minimum 2 years experience in CRO industry
