This role is for one of Weekday s clients Salary range Rs 5000000 - Rs 7500000 ie INR 50-75 LPA Min Experience 8 years Location Bengaluru JobType full-time Requirements As the Lead Backend System Architect at Gateway you will lead the technical design and implementation of our new flagship product You should have a deep understanding of software architecture scalability data models and system architecture Your focus will be on developing high quality scalable and efficient distributed systems You will also be responsible for ensuring that all system components fit together to meet business needs Responsibilities Drive collaboration within the backend team to own and design the technical infrastructure of our new product Conduct a thorough analysis of product requirements and develop a functional architecture for the system as well as recommend how the system will be developed deployed and maintained Work closely with other members of the technical team to implement the design including code development deployment production operations and support Ensure that all components of the system are integrated seamlessly from customer usage data governance and data security perspectives Work hands-on in product prototyping and deliver functional code for rapid MVP testing and turnaround Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required 5 years of experience as a System Architect 10 years of relevant work experience with an emphasis on software development and design Highly proficient in at least one of Python Golang or C programming Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in designing distributed systems API design and working with cloud technologies at least one of GCP AWS or Azure databases SQL and NoSQL Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment prioritize multiple tasks and projects at different stages of completion think strategically and develop long-term technical strategies Preferred Any knowledge of Agentic ML systems and their orchestration Any past experience with architecting a major system in the cloud
